Of course I get there at 7:45...ready for a good time! Who needs to make reservations? Just squeeze your way into the restaurant full of people who have their name on the waiting list. By pass the hostess, sit down at a table like you own the place. A few minutes later when the table is full of friends and the manager asks whose name was on the list...smile real big, act confused, and then place your drink order.

10: 00 pm

Jimmy's Too

Start with some line dancing and end with some pole dancing! (Just joking on the pole dancing!) Begin "Boppin the night away" with my good friend Jena and Missy. Grab a table, order a few drinks, take some pictures, and visit with Mrs. Kimble, Melissa, Duane, and some of their friends from Brookshire Brothers. Not only can us exbrookshire employees work hard...but we can party hard too!

Next Stop 94

The sensible people went home, and the crazies when to Jimmy's. With a responsible driver of course. Thanks Scott. Other then a little "trip and fall" in the middle of the road, we all had a fabulous time! All that dancing really built up an appetite.

I was home, but my car wasn't.

"Get up and go to work!" The responsible driver, and the only one who had to be at work the next morning.

Eric took me to get my car. Spent the day texting and chatting with friends about the wonderful memories made.

What was your favorite moment of the year? Graduating from SFA with my Masters and watching Eric and the boys have a blast at Shiloh Ridge
What was your worst moment of the year? Spending part of my summer away from my family all day in class from 8 - 5 and some Saturdays!
Where were you when 2008 began? Either at Jennifer's house or in the bed. I'm not sure we made it up til 12.

Why this month? I loved the experience of working half day at Summer School and then being off the rest of the day. It got me up, out of bed, and ready to be semi-productive.

What was your proudest moment of 2008? I love seeing the boys really excited. When Carter got his four wheeler from Santa I was proud for him. Realizing that one of my boys can and will mind at school. Lane not crying everyday at Mother's Day Out.
What was your most embarrassing moment of 2008? Meeting up with old friends from highschool and feeling like the fatest!
If you could go back to any moment of 2008 and change something, what would it be? I would change the fact that I let myslef get so upset and disappointed when I didn't get jobs I wanted.

Menu Planning

Ok..one of my many New Year's Resolutions for 2009 is to not eat out so much. By so much I mean every meal. Today is the first day of the school year that my son and I did not have Chick-fil-a for breakfast. So, I'm not real sure how to do all this menu business, but once I post these fabulous meals I'm sure my blog will be the new hot spot!! These tasty dishes are super tricky! LOL

Dirtbikes

On Christmas morning when the boys checked their stockings they both found dirtbike keys. I think Santa got confused or had a weak moment because I told him they deserved coal and switches this year!

The Lair Family

This is a typical day at the Lair house. Momma and daddy want to be lazy, but the boys have a different plan in mind. Right now they are trying to convince Eric that they need to build a wooden track to race their Derby cars on!

This is the only family picture we have. It was taken three years ago. I think it is about time for a new one!
